Feature

Flat pricing for customer support. No per-seat fees, no per-resolution charges.

Competing support tools split their billing into pieces: a seat cost, an AI resolution cost, an add-on cost. miniDesk gives you one fixed number per workspace, and the full feature set is present on every plan, including the free one. Your monthly invoice stays constant, and you see the number before signing up.

How the flat model works

Billing is per workspace, not per individual. Each tier bundles a fixed seat count and a monthly AI conversation allowance. Adding someone inside your tier's seat cap does not bump the invoice. AI usage counts against the conversation quota, never as a per-resolution or per-session charge. What you see on the pricing page matches what appears on your bill.

Costs you no longer carry

The helpdesk market has converged on a pricing structure that penalizes growth. You spend more per new teammate, more per AI-resolved ticket, and more per feature locked above your tier. miniDesk eliminates all three.

  • Zero per-seat fees: seats are bundled up to your tier limit
  • Zero per-resolution AI charges: AI is part of your conversation quota
  • Zero add-ons: reporting, routing, knowledge base, and MCP server are present on every plan
  • Zero overage fees: exceeding quota pauses the feature rather than billing you

A bill you can forecast

Fixed pricing means the figure on the pricing page is the figure on your invoice. No credit balance to deplete, no resolution tally to monitor, no session packs to purchase. Five people on Starter pay $39 a month. Twenty-five people on Scale pay $349 a month. Both numbers are visible before the first ticket, and neither fluctuates during a high-volume week.

miniDesk Starter, one flat price per workspace, sized by the 375 AI conversations you set above. The others are priced on the cheapest tier that fits these seats and has an AI agent answering customers, at their month-to-month rate wherever they publish one, because we sell no annual plan to hold an annual rate against. Chatwoot and tawk.to both meter the AI by the message rather than by the conversation, counted here at 3 messages in each one, which is our assumption and not a rate either of them publishes. It covers what their AI writes to a customer, and Chatwoot bills its copilot, summaries, reply suggestions and transcription from the same credits with none of those counted. Their tier is the cheapest one that keeps conversations as long as the plan on the left, because the $19 Startups tier keeps them for a year. They publish only an annual rate, so their column is that; every other one is cheaper on a yearly commitment.

Intercom and Zendesk charge for the outcome rather than the attempt, at $0.99 and $1.50 a resolution on top of the seat, and both are costed above with the AI settling every conversation it answers. Crisp bills every conversation Hugo touches, Freshchat every session, tawk.to every message its AI writes, settled or not. Ours is the flat plan price whatever the AI does with them.

Full feature set on every plan

Tiers vary by quota and seat count. The sole difference on paid tiers is stripping the powered by miniDesk badge from the chat widget. Everything else, from AI replies through the MCP server, ships on the free tier and every paid tier. Upgrades are about volume, never about locked features.
